2018 November Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Hello friends of harp music,
I apologize for this late night email, but I got way behind over this weekend and the kids being off school today (and tomorrow).
Anyway, I hope it’s not too late to invite you to Harp and Healing tonight Tuesday November 6th at 5.30PM at the Loft of Broadway Christian Church. Despite election tomorrow, we will go ahead with H&H as planned. For those who are interested, this is a monthly service, where I provide 45 minutes of soothing relaxing live harp music and our minister Terry Overfelt provides readings or poems and prayers on the subject of healing. This service is meant for people going through life’s difficult situations such as loss of a loved one, illness, recovery, divorce etc. So if you are going through any of these situations, please join us, also feel free to forward our invitation to anybody who could benefit from it. Free and open to everyone.
On WednesdayNovember 7th, I will be presenting harp to the Boonslick Kiwanis Club at 7.30AM! If you are a member, I am looking forward to seeing you at Rock Bridge HyVee! ( I am looking forward to it, except the early morning part of it ; -)
On Sunday November 11th The Missouri Symphony Conservatory Orchestras will present their Fall concert. These are very talented young instrumentalists from all over Columbia, JC, Moberly and Lake who rehearse once every week under the direction of my husband Kirk Trevor. One of my harp students plays harp at the Young Artists Philharmonic. Come and see their performance at the Missouri Theatre at 7PM!
If you have a third grader in your family, then they are in for a treat on Tuesday November 13th! That is the day of the Missouri Symphony annual 3th grade concert, when we play 2 concerts actually during the morning hours and all the third grades make a field trip to the Missouri Theatre. It’s a great collaboration between MOSY and CPS and we love the kids coming to see the Symphony and to the beautiful historic Missouri Theatre and to be exposed to classical music.
On November 19th at 12PM, I will be holding a presentation and concert at my own church Broadway Christian Church. This is for the 60+ group. I don’t think this is open to public, but email me if you are interested to attend and I will see what I can do.
Another private event is our Flute and Harp annual concert at Lenoir Woods, on November 28th at 6PM. If you have any family members at Lenoir, let them know about our concert or even better join them!
And finally on November 29th I will join the MU Wind Ensemble for the second time semester in concert in the Missouri Theatre at 7PM.
Looking ahead please save these dates:
